Prior to establishing Leumas (pronounced loo‐mas), Reggie served as an Investment Officer of Sam Zell’s Equity Residential (EQR). Equity, a S&P 500 company, is the largest publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust in the United States. Throughout his career, Mr. Samuel has been directly involved in over $3.0 Billion in apartment transactions throughout the United States.

In 2015, Reggie was appointed by Governor Terry McAuliffe to serve as a Board Member, Investment Advisory Committee Member, and Compensation Committee Member of the Virginia 529 College Savings Plan, which is the largest ($64 Billion) 529 College Savings and Investment Plan in the United States. In addition to his volunteer work with the Virginia 529 College Savings Plan, Reggie also serves as the Director of CountryBoys.org, which is a non-profit that leverages cultural exposure trips, football, and real estate development projects to expand the horizons of minority youth in rural communities.

Mr. Samuel resides in Fredericksburg, VA with his wife Athena and their five children.
